John R. “Jay” Devereux, 55, Grand Junction, died Nov. 4, 2010, at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Services will be at 4:30 p.m. Saturday at Crossroads United Methodist Church, with the Rev. Karen Hurst officiating.
Mr. Devereux was a salesman and golf instructor.
He is survived by his wife, Lorna G.; a son, Davis of Grand Junction; two daughters, Carman Devereux of Grand Junction and Kara Robson of Port Orchard, Wash.; two brothers, Robert of Lombard, Ill., and Jim of Crown Point, Ind.; a sister, Kathleen Spiekhout of Lansing, Ill.; and one grandchild.

Eva W. Elliott, 85, Grand Junction, died Nov. 6, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.
No services are planned at this time.
Ms. Elliott was a school head cook.
She is survived by a son, Loid of Grand Junction, and two grandchildren.

Monica A. Johnson, 80, Glade Park, died Oct. 25, 2010, at her home.
A private family service is planned.
Ms. Johnson was a counselor and artist.
She is survived by a son, Steve A. Taylor of Tucson, Ariz.; four daughters, Susan L. McCready of Cottage Grove, Ore., Kathy L. Catlin of Montrose, Leslie A. McAninch of Glade Park and Lisa M. Taylor Horn of Tucson; eight grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Evelyn A. McDaniel, 74, Montrose, died Oct. 31, 2010, at her daughter’s home.
Services will be at noon Nov. 16 at Crippin Funeral Home Chapel in Montrose.
Ms. McDaniel is survived by two daughters, Sheila Drury of Montrose and Sharon McDonald of Knoxville, Tenn.; two brothers, Austin Havens and John Havens, both of McPherson, Kan.; eight grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.
Gladys M. Miracle, 77, Grand Junction, died Nov. 3, 2010.
Visitation will be from noon to 1 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary Chapel, followed by a funeral service at 1 p.m.
Ms. Miracle is survived by one son, Ernest Caldwell of Grand Junction; one daughter, Debra Corbett of Grand Junction; one sister, Ginger Brunson of California; four grandchildren; and nine great-grandchildren.
Paul Edward Shaw, 81, Grand Junction, died Nov. 2, 2010, at Eagle Ridge.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Wednesday at Plateau Valley Assembly of God, 57228 U.S. Highway 330 in Collbran.
Mr. Shaw worked in industrial laundry.
He is survived by one son, Wallace E. of Collbran; two daughters, Cindy Miles of California and Paula Brock of Sand Point, Idaho; four grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.

Virginia Graves Tifft, 87, Grand Junction, died Nov. 5, 2010, at Aspen Ridge Care Center.
Ms. Tifft was a teacher.
She is survived by one son, Richard of Grand Junction; two daughters, Jody Lacey of Annapolis, Md., and Pam Tifft of Barton, Vt.; and three grandchildren.
