Former Delta resident LaVerna Brown, 66, Riverside, Calif., died Oct. 29, 2011.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Saturday at the Mesa View Cemetery in Delta.

Survivors include four sons, Shawn of Cumming, Ga., Bill of Salt Lake City, Shane of Montrose and Chance of Delta; one daughter, Mistie Williamson of Rio Rancho, N.M.; one brother, Melvin Hanes of Dickinson, N.D.; and seven grandchildren.

William “Bill” French, 86, Grand Junction, died Nov. 7, 2011, at Larchwood Inns.

Mr. French was a county equipment operator.

Survivors include one son, E. Kyle of Dayton, Ore.; two daughters, A. Jill Chase of Grand Junction and B. Joanne Myers of Topeka, Kan.; nine grandchildren; and 14 great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions to the Intermountain Christian Scholarship Fund in care of Northeast Christian Church, 2001 Patterson Road, Grand Junction 81506.

Welden Laverne McKissen, 71, Grand Junction, died Nov. 4, 2011, in Grand Junction.

Mr. McKissen was an optician.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Thursday at Callhan-Edfast Mortuary, with interment at 3 p.m. at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Darleen Louise; three sons, Rick McKissen of Grand Junction, Ron Rhyne of Cora, Wyo., and Mark Rhyne of Hollywood, Calif.; two daughters, Karla Coleman and Julie Kochevar, both of Grand Junction; his mother, Lorene R. McKissen; and eight grandchildren.

Cynthia “Cyndi” Parrott, 48, Clifton, died Nov. 5, 2011, at her home.

Ms. Parrott was a hearing aid specialist.

Services have already been held.

Survivors include her husband, Jason C.; one son, Tucker Matthew Northcutt of Broadview, N.M.; one daughter, Lauren Whitney Carrasco of Clovis, N.M.; and her parents,  Al and Caroline Carrasco of Clovis.

Delbert Lewis Pritchard, 85, De Beque, died Nov. 7, 2011, at the Grand Junction Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Mr. Pritchard was a mechanic.

Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Nov. 21 at Open Bible Fellowship Church, with inurnment at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Leona Faye; two daughters, Debra Faye McCloskey of Huntingdon, Pa., and Janet Lynn Nichols of De Beque; two sisters, Eveleen Barnhouse of Hatfield, Mo., and Beulah Weigart of Marion, Kan; four grandchildren; and eight great-grandchildren.

John Charles Sell Sr., 78, Hotchkiss, died Nov. 5, 2011, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Visitation will be at 10 a.m. Monday at Taylor Funeral Service Chapel in Delta. Services will be at 1 p.m. Monday at the chapel. Burial will follow at the Riverside Cemetery in Hotchkiss.

Survivors include one son, John C. Jr. of Hotchkiss; one daughter, Linda S. Sell of Aurora; two brothers, Ed of Aumsville, Ore., and Wayne of Colorado Springs; and one sister, Betty Cunningham of Rio Rancho, N.M.
