Rita M. Fitzgerald, 69, Grand Junction, died Oct. 4, 2009, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services are pending with Snell McLean Funeral Home.

She was a mail handler.

Survivors include two sons, Dean Naslund and Brandy Jenkins, both of Nucla; two daughters, Dana Archuleta of Grand Junction and Kelly Tomlinson of Nucla; two sisters, Sandra Poole of Naturita and Judy Brown of Palisade; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Dewey Hapken, 88, Grand Junction, died Oct. 4, 2009, at Aspen Ridge Care Center.

Services will be at 11:30 a.m. Thursday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, with private inurnment following at Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Irene; one son, Gary of Lakewood; one daughter, Evelyn Pearsall of Statesville, N.C.; one brother, Jim of Phoenix; six grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
