Robert Blumenthal, 85, Grand Junction, died Sept. 2, 2010, at the Veterans Affairs Medical Center.

Services will be at 1 p.m.  Sept. 10 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Mr. Blumenthal was the owner of Dresel Service Co.

Survivors include his wife, Charlot; five sons, Jim of Kingman, Ariz., Ken and Larry, both of Grand Junction, Ray of Palm Springs, Calif., and Jerry Mahoney of Vallejo, Calif.; four grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.

Doris G. Games, 92, Grand Junction, died Sept. 1, 2010, at LaVilla Grande Care Center.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at American Lutheran Church.

Mrs. Games was the owner and operator of a dry cleaning business.

Survivors include one son, Ric, of Denver; and one daughter, Sue, of Grand Junction.

Percy Mayes, 83, Grand Junction, died Aug. 30, 2010, at home.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mr. Mayes was a minister.

Survivors include his wife, Beverly Watson; six sons, Jerome, Percy Jr., and Kenneth Wieberg, all of Grand Junction; Bill Wieberg of Wichita, Kan., Greg Wieberg of Las Animas, and Mike Wieberg of Clifton; three daughters, Kim Jones of Aurora, Carol McCluskey of Valiant, Okla., and Sandy Watson of Grand Junction; 26 grandchildren; 37 great-grandchildren; and two great-great-grandchildren.

Janis Miller, 75, Grand Junction, died Sept. 1, 2010, at Larchwood Inns.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mrs. Miller was an administrative assistant.

Survivors include two sons, Larry and Paul, both of Grand Junction; three daughters, Sandra Conners of Carbondale, Kay Garihan of Wasilla, Alaska, and Annette Keen of Portland, Ore.; one sister, Joanne Bell of Grand Junction; seven grandchildren; and two great-grandchildren.

Charles Shepherd, 73, Grand Junction, died Aug. 30, 2010.

Services will be at 1 p.m. today at Martin Mortuary.

Mr. Shepherd was retired from Chevron Oil and Gas.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia Grigsby; two daughters, Margie Ferris of Magnolia, Ark., and Sherwyn Shepherd of Inglewood, Calif.; one brother, Lee Jewel of Magnolia; and one grandchild.

Susan Anne Tallman, 60, Clifton, died Aug. 31, 2010, at Larchwood Inns.

Services will be at 4 p.m.  Sept. 11 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.

Mrs. Tallman was a substance-abuse counselor.

Survivors include two daughters, Gina and LeeAnna, both of Grand Junction; one brother, Jon of Maui, Hawaii; one sister, Barbara of Anchorage, Alaska; and one grandchild.

Darrell T. Tool, 78, Grand Junction, died Sept. 2, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

Private family services will be held at a later date.

Mr. Tool was a retired industrial equipment salesman.

Survivors include his wife, Doris A., three sons, Gary Moretti of Palisade, Randy Moretti of San Diego, Calif., and Terry of Grand Junction; one sister, Linda Miller of Seattle; seven grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.

Ron K. Vopel, 71, Grand Junction, died Aug. 28, 2010, at Hospice Care Center.

Services will be at 2 p.m. Sept. 13 at Canyon View Vineyard Church. Burial will be at 10 a.m. Sept. 14 at the Veterans Memorial Cemetery of Western Colorado.

Survivors include his wife, Judy Pannell; two sons, Robert Medina of Grand Junction and Boyd of Billings, Mont.; four daughters, Rhonda Helfer of Littleton, Heather Owen of Texarkana, Texas, Kari Smith of Temecula, Calif., and Lori Stephens of Grand Junction; 10 grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.
