Frances Hawkins, 90, Fruita, died April 23, 2014, at St. Mary’s Hospital.

Services will be 10 a.m. Saturday at Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints in Fruita, followed by burial at Elmwood Cemetery in Fruita.

Survivors include sons Ray Hawkins and Lanny Honey, daughter Carol Orr, 12 grandchildren, and 18 great-grandchildren.

Carl A. Lepisto, 74, Grand Junction, died April 22, 2014, at his residence.

Services will be at 2 p.m. May 9 at Redlands United Methodist Church.

Dr. Lepisto was a retired ophthalmologist.

Survivors include wife Eileen, son Christopher of Grand Junction, daughter Gretchen Rierson of Highlands Ranch, and two grandchildren.

Jason A. Robirds, 43, Hotchkiss, died April 20, 2014, at his residence.

Services will be at 10 a.m. today at Wilson Head American Legion Post No. 97 in Paonia.

Survivors include wife Nickie; daughter Caitlin of Grand Junction; son Mackenzie of Hotchkiss; stepsons Kyle Tutor of Hotchkiss and Alex Tutor of Utah; stepdaughters Billi Tutor of Utah and Brook Tutor of Hotchkiss; mother Jacklyn “Jackie” of Austin; brother Braydon “Scott” of North Platte, Neb.; sisters Velinda Robirds-Hays of Garber, Okla., Leisa of Denver, and Kelly Anderson of Austin; and one grandchild.

Michiko “Margie” Taber, 86, Palisade, died April 21, 2014, at Larchwood Inns.

Visitation will be from 4 to 8 p.m. May 2. at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary. Services will be at 11 a.m. May 3 at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary, followed by burial at Palisade Cemetery.

Ms. Taber was a homemaker.

Survivors include son George M. of Grand Junction; daughters Eva M. Waggoner of Palisade and Michiko “Mickey” Allen of Leslie, Mo.; three grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Memorial contributions may be made to Strive: Attention Doug Sorter, 950 Grand Ave., Grand Junction 81501; or Grand Rivers Humane Society, P.O. Box 3048, Grand Junction 81501.

Gladys Ann Winter, 87, Parachute, died April 22, 2104, in Rifle.

Services will be at 10 a.m. Tuesday at Emmanuel Lutheran Church in Rifle.

Ms. Winter was a teacher.

Survivors include daughter Mary Ann Tonder of Battlement Mesa; brother Jerry Skaare; and sisters Arlene, Inez Liuerca, Lois Hayes, and Carol Gossman.
