Joseph Charles Gottschalk, 63, Rifle, died Aug. 10, 2017, in Grand Junction.

Private services will take place.

He was a heavy equipment operator.

Survivors include three daughters, Shannon Orlandini of Fort Myers Beach, Florida, Joann Christenson, and Crystal Gottschalk, both of Rifle; his mother, Eunice Lickfelt Gottschalk of Manitou Beach, Michigan; two brothers, Edward Gottschalk of Manitou Beach and Eugene Gottschalk of Britton, Michigan; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

Memorial contributions to the American Cancer Society, 2754 Compass Drive, No.101, Grand Junction 81506.

Paul W. Light, 85, Grand Junction, died Aug. 8, 2017.

Services will take place at 3 p.m. Aug. 27 at Koinonia Church.

Survivors include his wife, Bobbie; two sons, David of Glenwood Springs, and Drew of Rifle; one daughter, Diane Light of Silt; and two grandchildren.

Harry Albert Loss, 89, Montrose, died June 18, 2017, at his home.

Services have taken place.

Survivors include his wife, Joyce; two sons, Harry D. of Montrose, and Rick of Olathe; one daughter, Linda Golden of Cheyenne, Wyoming; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

Janice Ann Nisbet, 89, Palisade, died Aug. 10, 2017, at Hospice and Palliative Care Center.

No services will take place.

Survivors include her husband, Jerry; one daughter, Caroline of Durham, North Carolina; two sisters, Nina Burris of Palisade, and Shirley Hall of Mesa, Arizona; one brother, Donal Nisbet of New Castle; two grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

Clifford Lyle Pirnie, 77, Grand Junction, died Aug. 4, 2017.

Services will take place at a later date.

Survivors include one son, Brian of Nebraska.

Andrew “Jene” Young, 88, Delta, died July 30, 2017, at his home.

Services will take place at 11 a.m. Monday at the Cory Cemtery in Cory.

Survivors include his wife, Virginia; and two sons, Victor and Robert; and a daughter, Ziggie.
