■ Donald Wilson Bowles, 79, Grand Junction, died Sept. 28, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.
No formal service is planned.
Mr. Bowles created and opened the Central Book Exchange in 1966.
Survivors include his wife, Shelley; three daughters, Cindi Pierce of Price, Utah, Kelley Gusich of San Diego and Kirby Richardson of Grand Junction; eight grandchildren; and one great-grandchild.

■ Anita M. Finkel, 68, Grand Junction, died Sept. 30, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.
Services will be at 4 p.m. Thursday at New Life Church.
Mrs. Finkel was a special education teacher.
Survivors include her husband, Roger; two daughters, Melissa Thompson of Boone, Iowa, and Terra Vowles of Denver; her mother, Jackie Lonsford of Houston; four brothers, Estes Major of Round Rock, Texas, Robert Major of Alvin, Texas, Jack Major of St. James City, Fla., Michael Lonsford of Houston; 30 grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren.

■ Donald G. Fiscus, 98, Grand Junction, died Oct. 1, 2012, at Family Health West nursing home.
Services will be at 10 a.m. Friday at Callahan-Edfast Mortuary.
Mr. Fiscus was an agriculturist.
Survivors include two sons, Don G. and Ray L., both of Grand Junction; two daughters, Marilyn Petek and Jane Rarick, both of Grand Junction; four grandchildren; and five great-grandchildren.

■ Celia Arlene Ennis Lowrance, 79, Surface Creek, died Sept. 30, 2012, at Delta County Memorial Hospital.
Services will be 2 p.m. Saturday at First Assembly Church of God in Cedaredge.
Survivors include her husband, Elmer; two stepsons, Elwood Ennis of Lovel, Wyo., and Richard Lowrance of Broomfield; four stepdaughters, Debbie Gibson of North Field, Minn., Naomi Parkin of Boise, Idaho, Connie Staffer of Vancouver, Wash., Kathy Grein of Brighton; and numerous grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
■ Charles R. Neill Jr., 90, Grand Junction, died Sept. 30, 2012, at Hospice Care Center.
A celebration of life will be from 2 p.m. to 7 p.m. Thursday at 2686 G 1/2 Road, Grand Junction.
Mr. Neill was a geologist.
Survivors include his wife, Fern; two sons, David Schranck and Paul Schranck, both of Durango; one sister, Anne Stubbs; and two grandchildren.
