Denver parks manager named new Mesa County administrator

Denver Parks and Recreation Manager Chantal Unfug will become the next Mesa County administrator, county officials told The Daily Sentinel this afternoon.

County commissioners reached a unanimous agreement this morning to hire Unfug, who will begin July 20, Commissioner Janet Rowland said. Her annual salary will be $125,000.

Unfug was selected over three other finalists for the post: Donna Ross, the county’s acting director of regional services; Lynda Boswell of Leavenworth, Kan.; and Roger Kolman of Maricopa, Ariz.
