Donor gives $2M for college tuition

DENVER — An anonymous donor has given $2 million to the Denver Scholarship Foundation to help students who are ineligible for federal assistance for college.

The gift will help Denver students who are undocumented immigrants.

According to the Denver Post, about 10,000 immigrants in Colorado are ineligible for federal assistance, but figures for Denver students are not available.
