Entry fee waived at Colorado National Monument
In celebration of National Park Week Saturday through April 25, Colorado National Monument and all 391 other National Park Service sites are waiving entry fees for the week.
Colorado National Monument is offering special hikes and ranger-led events during the week. Contact the park visitor center at 858-3617, ext. 360 for more information.
The fee-free waiver is for entry only, it does not cover fees collected in advance or by contractors, including fees charged for camping, reservations, and use of concessions.
“National parks preserve our heritage, promote recreational experiences, and provide places of quiet refuge,” said NPS Director Jon Jarvis. “Most people live within a short drive of a national park so I encourage everyone to spend some time enjoying America’s Great Outdoors during National Park Week.”
