Festival in Palisade celebrates arrival of spring
Spring is officially here and the folks in Palisade have planned a festival on Saturday, March 26, to celebrate.
Spring Fest will feature vendors from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. on Third Street by the Palisade Plaza, where there also will be live music and food.
An original melodrama written by R. Curt Koss will be performed at 2 p.m. and 4 p.m., at Mumzel’s back stage, at Third and Main streets.
The melodrama, “The Peach Chronicles: Chapter 1, Perils of the Flesh,” features the villain Thadeus D. Whipsnade, played by Drew Hanlon, with a supporting cast of Palisade thespians, according to a news release.
Tickets to the melodrama cost $5 for adults and $3 for children.
