RSSFire forces evacuation in hospital
A fire late Monday night at St. Mary’s Hospital forced the evacuation of the fourth floor at St. Mary’s Hospital.
Grand Junction Fire Department investigators are looking into the cause of the fire, which was extinguished by the sprinkler system in a patient room.
One person was taken to the emergency room at the hospital before firefighters arrived, the fire department said.
