Flood advisories remain for Colorado rivers
DENVER — Flood advisories remain in effect for minor flooding in Colorado.
The Colorado Water Conservation Board says water flows are still high in portions of the Colorado, Yampa, White, and North Platte basins where minor near-bank flooding is likely in some spots.
The National Weather Service says river levels will begin to increase and could affect more areas by week’s end.
Weather forecasters say a flood advisory will remain in effect until Saturday for the Colorado River, and advisories are in effect Thursday for the Cache La Poudre, Elk River and rivers in Jackson County.
