Gessler to visit Western Slope
The state’s top elections official will tour western Colorado next week on an “election-integrity” tour.
Secretary of State Scott Gessler will meet with voters in Glenwood Springs, Grand Junction and Montrose to hear discussion about the conduct of the November election.
Gessler will first meet with voters from 10 to 11:30 a.m. Tuesday in the Garfield County Commission meeting room, 108 8th St., Room 10, Glenwood Springs.
He will then meet with voters in Mesa County from 2 to 3:30 p.m. in the commission’s public hearing room, 544 Rood Ave.
Voters in Montrose County will be able to discuss the election with Gessler from 8 to 9:30 a.m. in the Pioneer Room of Friendship Hall, 1001 N. Second St. in Montrose.
The meetings are open to the public and residents may share their thoughts or suggestions.
