Getting It Right, April 17, 2014

A story on Page 2A Wednesday should have said that Alexis Perez is free on a $10,000 personal-recognizance bond.

An item on Page 9A Tuesday should have categorized the owners of New Creations and Advanced Hearing Solutions, Patti Atchison and John Fletemeyer, as board-certified hearing aid dispensers.

A story on Page One Wednesday should have said that Rocky Ford cantaloupe growers were hit hard in 2013 when 33 people died of a listeria outbreak in cantaloupe grown by Jensen Farms in Holly, some 90 miles from Rocky Ford. The Jensen Farms cantaloupes were marketed under the “Sweet Rocky Fords” moniker, despite being grown in Holly.

Darren Ralph Caldwell, 43, who was arrested on multiple charges and listed in the Blotter on Page 3A Saturday, should not be confused with Darren Caldwell, 49, of Conquest Construction.
