The information regarding a You Saw It photo published on page 6D Thursday misidentified those making donations to area organizations. Earlier this year, Merrill Lynch made $1,000 donations to Colorado Canyons Association, Challenger Baseball and Riverside Education Center.

The story with the headline “Tree rings” published on 1D Thursday in the Trending section should have clarified that according to NASA research, forests cover 30 percent of Earth’s land surface.
