An editorial on Page 4A Friday said part of the budget fight in Washington, D.C., was over funding for abortion. It should have said it was over funding for Planned Parenthood. The organization is prohibited by federal law from spending federal funds on abortions, but Republicans say federal money Planned Parenthood receives for non-abortion services frees up more private funds for abortions.

Auditions for lead singers for the new Grand Junction Rockestra will be at 7:30 p.m. Wednesday, April 20, at Tenacious Brothers Pub, 118 S. Seventh St. The auditions, which were reported on Page 7 of Friday’s Out & About, are open to anyone, but those interested should schedule through Calvin Hofer at .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address). The incorrect venue for John Denver’s Rocky Mountain High, An Earth Day Concert, was listed in the Road Trip feature on Page 4 of Friday’s Out & About. The April 21 concert will be at the 1STBANK Center in Broomfield.
