Getting It Right, June 25, 2011

The Friday History Here and Now column on Page 7B should have said the 1972 detonations on Glade Park were from large quantities of TNT, not nuclear triggers, used to approximate the effects of nuclear blasts. Testing was done by the Field Command Defense Nuclear Agency.

An item in Friday’s Blotter should have said Kolby Shay Hilary Palo, 28, was booked into the Mesa County Sheriff’s Department Alternative Sentencing Unit on Wednesday, not the Mesa County Jail. Palo was not arrested Wednesday.
