A story on Page 2A Friday should have quoted Tom Adgate, an attorney representing Alvaro Agon, a Carbondale school resource officer at the heart of a dispute over whether such officers should play any role in federal immigration law enforcement as saying about Agon that “first and foremost he’s a police officer, and in our community we don’t believe that criminals should be allowed to hide behind their kids’ coloring books.”
