GJ city council tonight to consider holding place for medical pot ballot question

The Grand Junction City Council tonight will consider holding a spot on November’s general election ballot for a question on medical marijuana.

The issue is slated for a resolution at tonight’s regular meeting, while city officials said this morning that public testimony will not be taken.

The resolution comes as the Mesa County Commission today decided on a place-holder question on the upcoming November ballot that will presumably be used for a ballot question banning medical marijuana dispensaries.
