GJ hits 2nd straight record high
For the second day in a row, walkers, hikers, bikers, golfers and, in general, warm-weather lovers rejoiced.
Wednesday’s high temperature in Grand Junction topped out at 70 degrees, edging a 99-year-old record for March 4 by a single degree.
The party ended quickly, though.
The National Weather Service forecast the high to fall back into the upper 50s today.
Temperatures will drop further heading into the weekend, with a chance of rain Friday and — gasp! — possibly snow Saturday.
