GJ unemployment at 11 percent in February
Grand Junction’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate changed little between January and February, decreasing 0.1 percent in February to 11 percent.
The local rate changed because more people were employed in February than in January, but the total number of unemployed people remained the same, according to the Colorado Department of Labor and Employment.
Colorado’s seasonally-adjusted unemployment rate crept up 0.2 percent to 9.3 percent in February.
