Grand Junction’s Trujillo coasts to semifinals

Grand Junction High School sophomore Jacob Trujillo, 45-0, easily handled Gabe Marquez of Fort Collins Poudre, 15-5. They competed in the quarterfinal round of the Class 5A Colorado High School State Wrestling Championships.

With the victory, Trujillo now moves to tomorrow afternoon’s 145-pound semifinal round. The tournament continues through Saturday evening in Denver at the Pepsi Center.
