Great Outdoors Colorado to have retreat in Junction
The Great Outdoors Colorado board will hold its annual retreat in Grand Junction this weekend.
The 17-member panel, which invests nearly $60 million a year in Colorado Lottery funds to outdoor projects, will discuss a variety of issues, including implementation of its 2010 Strategic Plan. It will take no formal action during the one-day retreat.
The panel, however, will hold a regular business meeting Monday at Two Rivers Convention Center to discuss such matters as additional funding to the newly merged Colorado Parks and Wildlife for habitat protection projects.
All events are open to the public.
