Harvest Festival at CMU among numerous events

Halloween and harvest events are filling all hours of the day and night from Friday through Monday, Oct. 28–31.

Details on a number of costume, trick-or-treat or “haunted” events for children and/or adults can be found in the Out & About Calendar on pages 10 and 11.

Families with kids ages 3–12 are invited to a Children’s Harvest Festival, from 5–8 p.m. Saturday, Oct. 29, in Colorado Mesa University’s Academic Classroom Building at the corner of Elm and Houston avenues.

The event will be hosted by the Future Business Leaders of America-Phi Beta Lambda (FBLA-PBL).

Kids are encouraged to come in costume for the costume contest. There will be trick-or-treating, a crawl maze, ring toss, face painting, arts and crafts, a cake walk and more.

Cost is $5 per child and free for accompanying adults. Call 261-3245 or email .(JavaScript must be enabled to view this email address) mesa.edu for information.
