Lab assesses wheelchair back supports
Need help to determine what back support is appropriate to address the health, comfort and functional objectives of your client? Assistive Technology Partners has a learning lab that analyzes the features of a variety of wheelchair back supports and discusses the clinical indications for their use. Some of the more commonly available commercial wheelchair back supports and customized, specialty products are under review.
The learning labs are at 2:30 p.m. the second Thursday of the month through web-based technology at the Western Slope Technical Assistance Center, WesTAC, at the Mesa County Workforce Center, 2897 North Ave.
