Homemade Italian food only a click away

Manager Chris Vandoozer slices a chicken cordon bleu sandwich at Enzo’s Pizzeria and Italian Cafe Monday afternoon. Sandwiches and other Italian cuisine can now be ordered online.

Enzo’s Pizzeria and Italian Cafe has made ordering fresh homemade Italian food as easy as clicking a mouse.

Ordering online has become the latest national trend among large chain restaurants such as Domino’s, but with the help of Clic4AMeal.com, Enzo’s is now able to compete but still offer local flavor.

“People are finding it’s more convenient,” said Chris Vandoozer, manager of Enzo’s. He added that online ordering was popular with local office workers who needed to order dinner discreetly, or needed to have their order ready in advance in order to beat the lunch rush.

After an order is made, the Web site calls or texts the restaurant who immediately start making the pizza or fresh pasta.

Vandoozer said orders are starting to pick up from the site as word spreads that online ordering is available. He expects orders via the Internet to really be in full swing by early summer.

Enzo’s is located at the former Diorio’s location at 759 Horizon Drive. New ownership kept the original favorites from Diorio’s but added sit-down seating, a full bar, fresh pasta, and a large dessert menu.
