I-70 at Bakerville reopened after fatal crash
DENVER — A stretch of Interstate 70 in the mountains west of Denver is back open following a fatal accident.
I-70 was closed in both directions at Bakerville for several hours this morning as authorities investigated the crash.
State trooper Nate Reid said a driver heading east rolled into the median and ended up in the westbound lanes. The unidentified man was ejected from the 2004 F-250 and died at the scene.
