KidzPlex wins Level 3 team title

Four KidzPlex gymnasts placed in the top three all-around to lead the Level 3 team to the Xtreme Altitude Fall Classic title last weekend

Hailey Schmitt won the junior all-around title (37.125), won bars (9.525) and floor (9.5). Abby Deeths took second all-around (36.425).

Kamryn Renfro placed third all-around (36.575) in the child age division with a first on beam (9.375).

Kaelyn Satterfield led the KidzPlex Level 4 team with a second all-around (35.4). Aaliyah Smith was first on bars (9.525).

Outlaws place in tournaments


Four Colorado Outlaws wrestlers placed in a pair of tournaments recently.

Dawson Collins (15-under, 75 pounds), Brendon Barnes (12U, 82 pounds) and Zach Turner (12-under, heavyweight) took third place in the Monster Mash on Nov. 9 at the National Western Stockshow Complex.

Collins (14-under, 70 pounds) took second in the Big Horn Invitational the next day at the Budweiser Events Center in Loveland. Drew Martinez placed fifth in the 14-under, 88-pound division.
