Can someone tell me why they are happy that the government has money in the private sector?  This should be a local COMMUNITY issue.  The only thing the government is good at running… Is their mouths!

A dream come true. . . Finally!!!

You see, I am one of those educated enough to know the local government doesn’t PAY for that stuff.  Revenue does, most revenue in our area is coming from the Oil & Gas industry, so instead of thanking the government, why don’t you thank the people who are breaking their backs everyday and not the people who are pencil whipping?  That’s the difference between people who want the government in their life versus those of us that would rather see the city give money to have more police officers that build an entertainment area that was never popular anyway!  I’m a native and would rather see more things for our kids than the adults in this town.. Avalon did not deserve what the parks department could have done so there was more room at even the swimming pool!
