RSS‘Jason’ scares customers for Friday 13
“Jason” made an appearance at Mesa Mall to celebrate Friday the 13th,
Brian Weller thought it would be a pretty good idea to attract customers, or maybe scare them, into shopping at Hot Topic on Friday the 13th.
On the unofficial scary holiday, Weller dressed as Jason, the murderous character from the classic horror film, “Friday the 13th.”
Weller, who looms well over six feet tall, said he scared quite a few customers who don’t expect to see a masked man carrying a blood spattered foam machete in April.
“I just love movies and being that it is the first Friday the 13th of the year I figured ‘why not?’” he said.
Weller is a sales associate at Hot Topic as well as the owner of B’Hex’D Special Effects, a company that specializes in costumes and monster make-up for films. Weller often works for Disney.
