Juveniles arrested following crash with golf cart

COLORADO SPRINGS — Colorado Springs police have arrested two juveniles after a stolen vehicle crashed into a golf cart.

Police say the vehicle was equipped with a tracking device and they were attempting to stop it on Sunday when the driver drove off.

Police say a Colorado College security officer was driving the golf cart on patrol when it was struck and the juveniles tried to run. Both were captured after brief chase. They have not been identified and charges are pending.

The Colorado College security officer was treated at a local hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
