Katrina Selsor honored by RMAC again

Katrina Selsor led Colorado Mesa’s women’s basketball team in its sweep of Black Hills State and Chadron State, averaging 24.5 points and 10.5 rebounds a game.

The senior forward from Glenwood Springs was selected the RMAC offensive player of the week for the second time in three weeks. Selsor scored a career-high 31 points in an 82-55 win Friday over Black Hills State and followed that up with 18 points in an 82-37 rout of Chadron State on Saturday. She also had 10 rebounds against the Yelllowjackets and 11 rebounds against the Eagles.

She shot 71.4 percent from the field in the two games and is second on the team in scoring (14.4) for the seventh-ranked Mavericks (20-1, 16-1 RMAC), who clinched a playoff spot last weekend. She averages 8.7 rebounds a game and leads the Mavericks with 80 assists and 41 steals.
