An Arizona woman died Tuesday after her inflatable kayak flipped on the Green River in Utah, according to the Grand County Sheriff’s Department.

Shirley Palmer, 73, of Tucson, Ariz., reportedly drowned around 11:30 a.m. in a section of the Green River, Wire Fence Rapids, which is located approximately 37 miles up river from Green River, Utah.
