Keller Williams agents hit road for home sales

Brokers with Keller Williams say taking a weekly tour of new listings keeps them up-to-date about the market.

Eight cars waving the Keller Williams flag from their rear windows rolled up in front of a new listing at 828 Logan Ave. in Palisade Wednesday morning.

More than 30 agents filed out of the cars and into the living room of the home, discussing square footage, number of bathrooms and asking about an HOA.

The tour is a weekly event for Keller Williams agents who claim it is the only way to keep informed about the homes available on the market, making it easier to match a seller with a buyer.

“We tour new listings every week,” said Diana Davis-Reiber, broker associate for the agency.

The weekly home tour, according to the agents, is just one of many programs that help Keller Williams Grand Junction Realty continue to be listed as one of the top selling agencies in Colorado.

Last week, Sandy Borman was one of four nominated as Team Leader of the Year in the state by the company.

“It’s just really important to stay informed and see what listings are out there,” Davis-Reiber said.
