Lecture hall named for Wells Fargo after donation to college

Mesa State College named Room 212 in the Academic Classroom Building the Wells Fargo Lecture Hall on Monday in recognition of the $300,000 the bank has donated to the college.

The bank has supported numerous scholarships, academic programs and capital projects at the college, according to Mesa State President Tim Foster.

“Wells Fargo is proud to have a Mesa State lecture hall bearing its name,” Wells Fargo Community Banking President Steve Irion said in a press release. “We are pleased to have been involved in helping this institution of higher education grow and evolve just as we are delighted to be an active partner in the community.”
