Legislature This Week, March 28, 2011

Tuesday: The House Judiciary Committee will consider a bill that would allow juveniles who were tried for murder as adults and received life sentences to be eligible for parole after 40 years.

Wednesday: The House Agriculture, Livestock & Natural Resources committee will consider a bill by Rep. Ray Scott, R-Grand Junction, to change the makeup of the Colorado Oil and Gas Conservation Commission.

Thursday: The Senate hopes to cast a final vote on the budget for the 2011–12 fiscal year, which begins July 1, and send the bill to the HOuse.
