100 free dog vaccinations offered today

In an effort to assist pet owners in need, Tiara Rado Animal Hospital will offer 100 free dog vaccinations from 10 a.m.–noon today at Catholic Outreach, 245 S. First St.

The first 100 dogs in line will get free rabies and distemper combo vaccinations, plus a rabies tag certification from the state of Colorado. The vaccinations are highly recommended for puppies to protect them from parvovirus, a highly contagious and life-threatening disease.

Tiara Rado Animal Hospital offers this free service to those in need, especially the homeless community who may rely on their dog for both companionship and protection. This is the fourth year Tiara Rado has offered the free preventative service, potentially saving dogs from more serious and expensive illnesses.
