Legal advice free on expungement
Colorado’s Collateral Relief Project will offer free legal advice to people who want to file for expungement of their juvenile criminal records, sealing of criminal records and sex offender deregistration during a clinic June 3 in Grand Junction and in Glenwood Springs.
The project, which is sponsored by the Colorado Criminal Defense Institute and the Office of the Colorado State Public Defender, will help people determine if they are eligible for any of those services or to apply for post-conviction relief, according to a press release.
The clinic is open from 9 to 11 a.m. June 3 in Glenwood Springs at 311 1/2 Eighth St. and from 2 to 4 p.m. in Grand Junction at 114 N. Spruce St. on the third floor.
Attendees are asked to bring any paperwork they have on their case. Assistance in Spanish will be available.
