Louisiana fugitive arrested in Delta

Federal officers assisted by counterparts from Delta and Mesa counties arrested a man wanted out of Louisiana this morning at a Delta home.

The Delta Police Department said in a news release that Eddie Ray Good, who had been wanted in connection with a violent home invasion in Louisiana, was arrested without incident after authorities surrounded a home on H38 Road, inside Delta city limits.

The release said a small number of Mesa County Sheriff’s Department SWAT deputies assisted in the arrest, while the department also brought its armored personnel carrier to Delta for the operation.

The U.S. Marshal’s office and SWAT personnel from Delta County were also involved.
