Main Street’s new look slated to be ready for initial Farmers Market
Check out Main Street’s new look, along with the produce of the season, at the first American National Bank Downtown Farmers Market Thursday, June 9.
The market, which continues from 5–8:30 p.m. each Thursday through Sept. 15, features farmers and produce, artisans, vendors and musicians. Many downtown businesses will be open late.
In addition, the Downtown Uplift, which reconstructed several blocks of Main Street, is set to be complete by the opening of the market.
Parking is free after 4 p.m. in the Rood Avenue parking structure, between Fourth and Fifth streets. Pets should be left at home.
Weekly event highlights for the farmers market can be found in the Wednesday edition of The Daily Sentinel.
