Man accused of impersonating a police officer

COLORADO SPRINGS — A man is facing charges after he was accused of claiming to be a police officer and then fighting with the real police.

Willie Greene III is accused of impersonating a peace officer, obstructing a peace officer and DUI.

Witnesses say they thought Greene was suspicious and they tried to take his picture. They said Greene got out of his vehicle and told them he was a police officer and they were interfering with an investigation.

Police say when they arrived, Greene struggled with them and police used a stun gun to subdue him.
