Man hurt in motorcycle accident

A 26-year-old Minnesota man was in good condition at St. Mary’s Hospital after he was injured in a motorcycle accident Sunday in Utah.

Ryan J. Klingelhutz of Maconia, Minn., was taken from the Whitewash Sand Dunes area in Grand County by St. Mary’s CareFlight helicopter, the Grand County Sheriff’s Department said.

A retired emergency-medical technician found Klingelhutz and was attending to his injuries when authorities arrived at the site of the accident, which occurred shortly after noon, the sheriff’s department said.

Klingelhutz suffered a broken leg and possibly broken collarbone, the sheriff’s department said.
