Man dies in Interstate 70 crash
A man died Thursday evening after his pickup rolled on Interstate 70 near Grand Junction, according to the Colorado State Patrol.
The man, whose identity wasn’t immediately known, was the sole occupant of the truck, which careened out of control and rolled in the center median of the interstate around mile marker 29.
Authorities were called at 7:50 p.m.; initial dispatch reports indicated the driver was pinned inside the truck. The truck, which had a California license plate, was heading east, according to troopers.
