Mesa volleyball picked to win West Division

Colorado Mesa University’s volleyball team is the favorite to win the RMAC West Division and fourth in the conference as voted by the coaches in the conference.

Mesa finished third in the conference last season. The Mavericks were 20-9 overall and 13-5 in the RMAC. Senior middle hitter Antoinette McCormick made the preseason All-Conference team.

Nebraska-Kearney is the favorite to win the RMAC East Division and the conference title. The Lopers received eight first-place votes.

Metro State is picked to finish second in the conference and in the east. The Roadrunners received six first-place votes.

Colorado School of Mines is picked third in the conference and the east. Regis, Colorado-Colorado springs, Colorado Christian and Western New Mexico round out the top eight.

Coaches ranked the teams 1-13 and were not allowed to vote for their team.
