Mitt Romney plans rallies in Denver, Pueblo

DENVER — Mitt Romney is returning to Colorado to campaign.

The Republican presidential candidate plans to hold a rally Sunday evening in Denver and then speak to supporters on Monday in Pueblo. A rally there was canceled last weekend after a fatal small plane crash at the city’s airport.

Sunday’s rally at D’Evelyn High School will start at 7:30 p.m.

On Monday at noon, he’ll speak to supporters at the Pueblo Weisbrod Aircraft Museum

Some in the GOP have been criticizing Romney for spending too much time raising money and not enough time talking to voters in the battleground states that will decide the election.

After his visit to Colorado, Romney will head to Ohio, another key swing state.
