Montrose council changes meeting day

MONTROSE — Beginning Jan. 4, regular meetings of the Montrose City Council will take place on the first and third Tuesdays of each month.

The move from Mondays to Tuesdays is the only change to the schedule. Council work sessions will begin at their regular time of 6 p.m., and meetings will follow at 7.

Council agendas and public information packets are posted in advance in the lobby of City Hall and are available at http://www.cityofmontrose.org.

According to city public information officer David Spear, Montrose is featuring a new online service that sends electronic notifications of upcoming public meetings via e-mail. Residents can sign up for this service by visiting http://www.cityofmontrose.org/notifyme.
