Officials plan to crush seized ivory in Denver

DENVER — Federal wildlife officials are planning to crush more than 6 tons of ivory in Denver.

The U.S. Fish and Wildlife Service said it is part of a new U.S. push to combat illegal wildlife trafficking worldwide.

The Denver Post reports the goal is to put an end to a $10 billion illegal industry.
