Ouray jet jockeys add to air show

Navy aviator and Ouray High School graduate Ian Rasmussen lands an F/A-18 Hornet at Montrose Regional Airport late Thursday afternoon, arriving for the annual Airport Appreciation Day celebration, which was Saturday. Rasmussen is an instructor at the Navy’s Top Gun air combat school. His cousin and high school classmate, Air Force Capt. Josh Rasmussen, is an F-16 pilot who is stationed in Italy.
