The sculpture, “Charm,” by Dee Dee Morrison was removed by city crews this week to make room for new Art on the Corner sculptures.

Some of the sculptures on display downtown are being removed this week by city crews in anticipation of a new batch of works for the annual Art on the Corner display.

Many of the pieces are scheduled to be on display in other cities and must be removed immediately, said Kathy Dirks, marketing manager for the Downtown Development Authority.

New sculptures have been selected but the exact date for installation has not been determined, Dirks said.  She anticipates they will be installed toward the end of the month.
